HHREC GenerationsForward Speaker Helen Rubel Appears on Town of Greenburgh Solving Problems Program

On May 28th Helen Rubel of the HHREC GenerationsForward Speakers Bureau appeared on the Town of Greenburgh Public Access channel hosted by Town Supervisor Paul Feiner. Helen told the story of her mother and grandmother who where survivors of the Holocaust. By sharing her mother’s first person account of fleeing Germany, Helen hoped to ensure history does not repeat itself and that people become “Upstanders” – someone who stands up for what is right.
