MemoryKeeper Story Hour on Zoom: Noah Saphier, Fourth Generation Speaker

Noah Saphier will share his story as a fourth generation descendant of Holocaust Survivors about his great-grandfather Wolf Brühl, starting from when he was born in Jarosław, Poland, through his time when he was incarcerated and to his death at Auschwitz.

Noah spent years engaging in archival research and traveling to Europe to meet with historians and genealogists in an effort to trace Wolf’s path and identify more details of his experiences. This incredible journey is chronicled in the essay “Shoah’s Shadow: Wolf Brühl’s Journey Through a World at War,” to be published by the Journal of the Vienna Wiesenthal Institute for Holocaust Studies.
